In partnership with Out in Schools’ sister organization, the Vancouver Queer Film Festival, we invite you to join us for a special movie screening and after-film mingler. The fun kicks off at Empire Granville 7 Theatres with the presentation of, Joshua Tree 1951: A Portrait of James Dean. Director Matthew Mishory will be in attendance to introduce the film and answer questions.
The party will then continue at OPUS Vancouver in Yaletown for an evening of networking and cool cocktails. Hosted by Vancouver's foremost drag queen, the fabulous Joan-E, proceeds from this event will benefit Out in Schools. Tickets are $30 (plus HST and ticket processing fee) and include admission to the film, a Vancouver Queer Film Festival Membership, VIP entry to OPUS Bar, and a complimentary cocktail, courtesy of OPUS Bar and Sobieski Vodka. 2012 Queer Film Festival Pass Holders are also welcome to attend the film and after-film mingler event. Tickets to the after-film mingler, including VIP entry to OPUS Bar and a complimentary cocktail, are available to valid Pass Holders for $15 (plus HST and ticket processing fee). 2012 QFF Pass Holders, please use Promo Code "QFFPASS" when purchasing your ticket(s). Entry will be subject to verification of pass.
If you can't make it to the film but still want to come to the post-film event at the OPUS, please purchase a ticket to the after-film minlger only, by entering Promo Code "QFFAFTER" which will enable you to buy a ticket for the after party for $21.
