Please join us on Friday, April 19 for an opportunity to meet Vancouver Mayor Gregor Robertson. Mayor Robertson will speak to us about a variety of city-related topics, including the city's relationship with its vibrant LGBTQ community. As with all of our events, proceeds go directly to the anti-bullying and teen suicide prevention work of Out in Schools.
Like with our last luncheon, we are thrilled to host this event at Gastown's sexy and stylish new dining hotspot, Secret Location. Your ticket includes a spectacular 3-course menu, specially selected and prepared for us by the Secret Location culinary team, a glass of wine from Le Vieux Pin Winery, lots of fabulous door prizes (including, as always, the latest smartphone or tablet from our friends at TELUS), a chance to participate in a 50/50 draw benefiting Out in Schools and, of course, a great chance to connect with old contacts and meet new ones!
Tickets are $40 each, plus tax and a small ticket processing fee that is charged by our ticket service provider. Registration starts at 11:30 and lunch starts at noon, sharp. The event wraps up around 2:00. We've received feedback from many of you asking that we provide more time for networking at our luncheons, so we have scheduled more time for just that!
We would like to thank our generous sponsors, without whom our events would not be possible. Please take a moment to check them out!
On behalf of Out in Schools, we would like to thank you for your support. Thank you to everyone who attended any of our sold out events over the last year. Together, we have already raised tens of thousands of dollars for Out in Schools. All of this is undeniable proof that together, we can make a difference for young LGBTQ people in our communities. Thank you.
On a serious note: Friends & Company and our sponsors remind you to please drink responsibly and plan a safe ride home. Please don't drink and drive. Thank you.
